Description

Since 2000, lawyer Dobrila V. Stanković assumed the management of the Law Firm STANKOVIC & ASSOCIATES. In her many years of work, she has specialized in representation of legal and natural persons in the domain of criminal law. She particularly stands out in representation of legal entities in the area of criminal acts against economy – economic crime, crimes against security of computer data – high technological crimes and crimes against intellectual property.

A special area she is engaged in is medical law, namely she represents clients in procedures for determining criminal responsibility in the event of medical error and conducts proceedings for compensation of material and immaterial damage. In hers many years of work in the legal profession, lawyer Dobrila Stanković has specialized in the area of international criminal law,  competition law and affairs pertaining to international arbitration. She is particularly specialized in representation of sports organizations and active sportsmen, which is reflected in legal consulting and representation of sports organizations, registration of sports associations, and the conduct of trial proceedings before the competent Ministry of Sports. Representation of active athletes is reflected in knowledge and interpretation of the status of national federations, and drafting of professional and amateur contracts, representation before arbitration, mediation with media and sponsorship arrangements of athletes. Also she is practicing law in the area of Maritime law in Republic of Montenegro.

She is one of the co-authors of the History of Yugoslav Legal profession – Book III (published by the Yugoslav Bar Association).

She is the president of the supervisory board of the Serbian Association for Medical Law. She owns a certificate for representing minors in criminal proceedings, as well as the certificate for representation before judicial authorities in Kosovo and Metohija and Republic of Montenegro.

She speaks English fluently and uses Italian.
